in 1989, taito released cameltry, a game in which one guides a marble through a maze by rotating the maze itself. the arcade cabinet is equipped with a dial, which the player spins to spin the stage.

in 1992 a super famicom port - known as on the ball on the western snes - was released. though neither the super famicom controller nor mouse are quite as accurate as the arcade dial, the port is exceeds the original in many ways: mostly, stage count - a full one hundred, some of which play with inverted gravity or limited rotation. guest appearances include friends from liquid kids, bubble bobble, darius and space invaders!

the video, yet to be seen try it, showcases many of the game's utterly fantastic level designs.
